The Ark became one of Sweden's biggest bands in the '00s, all while reintroducing ‘70s glam to Scandinavia. Their boisterous pop, flamboyant costumes and theatrical performances helped them rack up a legion of chart-topping hits as they ruled the Swedish airwaves in the wake of their 2000 debut, We Are the Ark. A UK tour with The Darkness followed, as did a Eurovision Song Contest appearance in 2007.
