Before taking control of the decks, Kim Min-ji aka Peggy Gou was a student at the London College of Fashion, moonlighting as a DJ while teaching herself to build beats. This education is evident in her music, which has its roots in techno and house yet weaves its influences into elegantly minimalist rivers of sound. Since dropping her first EP in 2016, Peggy Gou has played Glastonbury and Coachella, founded indie label Gudu Records and introduced her fashion line, KIRIN.
