Italo-disco producer Bernard Fèvre was a total unknown when one of Aphex Twin's Rephlex labelmates discovered his 1978 Black Devil Disco Club EP at a yard sale. Bewitched by the spooky dance music it contained, the label re-released songs from the EP in 2004, and bits and pieces of Fèvre's catalog have been appearing ever since, including new material like 2011's Circus, which features collaborators like Nancy Sinatra and Jon Spencer. With its futuristic vision of dance music stretching all the way back to the '70s, Fèvre's tracks offer a wild, captivating listen.
