He said, he couldn’t love me

I thought we had something

And though I tell myself to stop

I still tie myself in knots

Back then I was ready

But now, that thought scares me

My past is peppered with lots of little pain points

Some of them are big ones I think I need real love

All the things that broke me make me

All the things that hurt me changed me

I thought I was done with love but since I found you
