Not really saying the things that you mean

How long have you been trying to hide

The things that you think the feelings inside

Saying you’re hurting for my sake

You probably don’t think that you’re lying

Had a fight over lunch

You broke down and got mean

But still what i can’t understand is

What you expect me to think?

How long have you been showing me half

Making me guess and do my own math

Shading the truth with your own point of view

I dont think you think that you’re lying

Thinking you’re saving me from the rain

I know you mean well but the feelings the same
