I'm Trading My Trials for a Crown

So many times here below

I don't understand the way things go

And I question through the pain

Does He even know my name

I recall the things He's done

And how He gave His only Son

And now He's holding me till my race is won

I'm trading my trials for a crown

Very soon I will lay these burdens down

I'm looking up high for He's coming down

And then I'll trade these trials for a crown

I don't despise the lessons learned

Yet in my heart I always yearn

To hear His trumpet sound

Then I'll lay these burdens down

I'll receive a glorious crown but I'll gladly lay it down

At the feet of my God's Beautiful Lamb
