It’s clear about its intentions from the off as sirens blare and shots fire over the intro and “Bread And Butter”, letting us know we’ve entered seriously noirish territory. The likes of Raja Kumari and Sikander Kahlon show up to buttress Patar’s raw and rustic verses—but the record’s gleaming production ensures that the tracks are as pristine as they are powerful.
