In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in 2015, at the very beginning of our adventure with this band, we decided to travel to the US and Canada for inspiration. While spending a few weeks discovering Toronto, we were invited as guests on a beautiful folk evening, it was magical.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kelly Joe Phelps, Shine Eyed Mister Zen Sting, Mercury Falling The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version The Hendrix for the energy, rawness, and fire. Mercury Falling for the magic of the storytelling, the eeriness of the arrangements, the variety of songs, and different soundscapes. Kelly Joe Phelp's for its genre-defining poetry and mystery.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Colours” This song represents new beginnings for us. The first version was recorded on our first EP, live, when we were ready to set sail. Years later it became a part of our first album, re-recorded with our full band. It's been with us for a long time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a sold-out Café de la Danse in Paris at the release party for our debut album was certainly one of the highlights of our short career. Handling everything as independent artists from venue hire to ticket sales and then playing a packed room!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The list is never-ending. For now, to finish writing and to release our second album, and then to get the opportunity to tour and play those songs to the biggest amount of people.
