In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in Grade 3, our teacher brought in a special guest. He was a shaggy-haired punk who played electric guitar for us. He plugged into his amp and launched into Sum 41's "Over My Head". I knew instantly that I wanted to make music one day.

Tell us why you chose this song. “President of Student Council” This track was the first piece of original music I ever created. It started out as a bit of an experiment to send to a few friends, but I ended up loving the process so much that I kept working to create new songs that conveyed different emotions.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A few years ago, after a show, a six-foot-four and very intimidating man found me and shook my hand. He told me that he's not a very emotional guy, but that one of my songs brought a tear to his eye. The song was written about the life of Mr. Bean!
