Formed in the Wicker Park section of Chicago by singer Juliette Tworsey and guitarist Jules Shapiro, Firebug soon made its way out to Los Angeles to try and gain some attention. Shapiro and Tworsey found bassist Jeff Eccles and drummer Ty Dennis, and started making a psychedelic grunge that caught on in the fickle California club scene. They released Fragile, their first album, in 2001. ~ Bradley Torreano
