In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is picking up the tenor saxophone in middle school band class. I had no prior experience with music, but it kickstarted my music education and, eventually, my career as a musician.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Random Access Memories ILLENIUM, Fallen Embers Porter Robinson, Worlds Porter Robinson introduced me to EDM with his single, 'Language'. 'Worlds' was on constant repeat after I first heard it. ILLENIUM is my favorite melodic bass producer, and of course Daft Punk inspired me with their blend of electronic and acoustic.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Doubt” 'Doubt' is actually the first time I ever worked with a vocalist. I am super pleased with how this turned out, and it performed well for me. Coming from an instrumental music background with genres like jazz and orchestral, this was a turning point.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most impactful moment of my career was launching GridBot. It is quite literally the culmination of years of training and work, and I hope for it to evolve into my life's work.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing a major festival like EDC! Also collaborating with well-established artists.
