Owl City is the musical moniker of electronica singer-songwriter Adam Young, best known for his multi-Platinum hits “Fireflies” and “Good Time” (featuring pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen).
∙ Ocean Eyes—Owl City’s 2009 sophomore album—hit No.1 on three separate Billboard charts: Top Rock, Top Alternative, and Top Dance/Electronic.
∙ The 2009 breakout hit “Fireflies” has been certified seven-times Platinum in the US and hit No. 1 in many countries, including Australia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Ireland.
∙ “Good Time”—a 2012 collaborative single with Carly Rae Jepsen—became an international chart-topping hit (Canada, New Zealand, Belgium, and South Korea).
