Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. one of my earliest musical memories is playing Sibelius Symphony number 2 in a youth orchestra and being overwhelmed by the immersion of playing music that way. Being inside the music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Oneohtrix Point Never, R Plus Seven Radiohead, In Rainbows Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden These albums have all had a huge impact on me as musician. The experimentalism plus musicians ship on show is at a level I hold as the pinnacle of music making
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vale” This song is the first song from my debut album Vale - Its a sonic description of the feeling I have looking out at the Vale of York where I grew up.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a sold out show at Union Chapel in London to a very receptive audience supporting the release of Vale. The response from the audience was beautiful and it was a wonderful concert
