Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
When I was 5, I knew every word to N.W.A’s “Gangsta Gangsta.” Not age-appropriate but back then I didn’t understand what I was saying. Looking back though that early exposure shaped me and influenced how I approach my music.. raw and honest.

The first 2 verses were really a reflection of the upbringing I wish I’d had. Then when we found out we were expecting, I waited until her third trimester to write the final verse so it could come from a real place of becoming a father.
