José Ramón Julio Martínez Márquez, better known as Ramoncín, is a Spanish punk rock pioneer. He began covering Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones in early-'70s dive bars, then launched his solo career with jagged, churning guitars, percussion blasts and sharp-tongued vocals on early hits like "Hormigon, Mujeres y Alcohol" and "Putney Bridge". Later, he expanded his down-and-dirty rock 'n' roll with richly textured pop-rock like "Como un Susurro", ensuring his role as a vital, provocative force in rock en España.
