When Paloma Mami's R&B-fueled debut single, “Not Steady,” went inescapably viral in 2018, no one could have predicted that, within a year, she'd be opening a stadium show for Latin trap godfather ‎Arcángel and scoring large-font billing at Lollapalooza Chile. But such has been the meteoric rise of Chilean-American singer born Paloma Rocío Castillo Astorga in Manhattan in 1999. After moving to her family's homeland at 16, a brief appearance on TV talent show Rojo, el color del talento helped introduce her to Chilean audiences, while blockbuster singles including “Fingías” and her sultry duet with C. Tangana on “No Te Debí Besar” sent her slow-burning perreos global. In 2021, Paloma Mami released her debut LP, Sueños de Dalí, pouring passions for trap, R&B, and reggaetón into an expansive urbano-pop manifesto.
