While Justice's rhythmic instincts were shaped by disco-sampling house acts like Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, they got their guitar riffs—and leather jackets—from '60s and '70s rockers like T. Rex and The Velvet Underground, and their vintage soul is deeply indebted to N.E.R.D's crisp drums and effortless cool.
