The Thompson Twins formed in 1977, but it took five years of lineup changes and experimentation for the London act to solidify their sound. Their big breakthrough came with the release of "In the Name of Love," a dance hit from the album Set; the song was the first of more than 20 internationally charting singles the band had between 1982-92. Though they officially split in '93, bandleader Tom Bailey returned to playing live in 2014, including shows at the UK's Rewind Festival South and on the Retro Futura Tour.
