Co-leader of the London Symphony Orchestra violin section, violinist Roman Simovic has also developed a substantial solo career. A chamber musician as well, he was a founding member of the Rubicon String Quartet, and he is an important educator who has taught at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Simovic has numerous orchestral credits on the London Symphony's LSO Live label, and he has issued recordings with the orchestra as a soloist, including Rózsa, Bartók: Violin Concertos, released in 2024.
