In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Being in the kitchen at my nan's watching her & my mum cooking dinner, listening to Catatonia's Mulder & Skully. I'd have been about 7; it isn't the earliest memory but it's the most evocative, just as I was developing a sense of my musical taste.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Glassjaw, Worship and Tribute
Kings of Leon, Because of the Times
Molotov Solution, Insurrection (Special Edition)
Glassjaw: Listening back, it still holds up so well as a post-hardcore record
KoL: My cousin recommended this & it totally hit that country rock soft spot that I'd developed
MS: Undoubtedly paved the way for so many of today's sickest heavy bands
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
On our first proper headline tour we opened with Making Weight & it was the first time I couldn't hear Toby playing because the crowd were singing so loudly. I had to step away from the mic & laugh, it was such a humbling and cathartic experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Despite how meme'd on it's become at this point, I'd actually really like to go to South America somewhere to play - I think they get a bad wrap for asking bands to travel there.
