Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child prodigy pianist, my mom would take me to all the jazz clubs & ask if I could sit in. That led me to being mentored & given lessons form all the greats: Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Ray Brown, Tom Scott, Dizzy Gillespie, etc.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jerry Goldsmith, Star Trek: The Motion Picture - The Director's Edition (Music from the Motion Picture) Michael Jackson, Thriller Working day & night non-stop on Thriller was a wild experience. I had a 24 track just for my sounds I created. Those 22 day sessions on Golsmith's score to Star Trek TMP was a blast. He called it a concerto for Blaster Beam (my 18 ft long instrument)
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Co-Headlinging Madison Square Gadren with Deep Purple when I was just 14 doesn't get any wilder than that! I remember the pshycodelic colors all over the arena. My jazz trio had just won Battle of the Bands.
