In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first time my dad sang to me as a young girl and taught me how to belt. It was so fun and scary and he was such an inspiration. He taught me how to sing when I was 5 years old and always admired his confidence.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Flume, The Difference (feat. Toro y Moi) - Single ROSALÍA, MOTOMAMI Tyler, The Creator, Flower Boy These albums have a special connection to my song writing. Apple music always feels so minimal and clean that it gives me space to process the music in a focused state.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Very Well” I wrote very well when I was in a very low, depressive and insecure place. During the pandemic I was trying to get healthy, so I wrote very well as a love letter to my future self. The song acts as a affirmation of who I aspire to always be.
