In the artist’s words:
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Melanin (feat. Lana J.)”
This song is an ode to Black Trans Women and Queer folks that paved the way for me to live in my authenticity. To share this track with Lana J, a Black, Queer, woman is an honor because Black women have always inspired me in everything I do!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Getting to play my first show in a new city last year! It was exactly what I needed to know I am moving in the right direction!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I am still in the early stages of my career, there are still many things I want to do. Going on tour, headline a festival, music videos, collaborations! Nothin is off the table!
