For the sake of simple categorization, Heston Francis is a contemporary R&B artist, but his sophisticated brand of the form incorporates elements of reggae, folk, and other international styles. He aims to make music that sounds as fresh in the future as it does in the present. Born in Dominica and based in Atlanta, the singer, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist has released several accomplished albums, including Storyteller (2008), Warm Human Cold World (2011), Love Junkie (2013), and Transparency (2016). Though he has performed all over the planet, the last release of that bunch truly emphasized his "world soul" approach, as it was recorded in the United States, the Caribbean, England, and the Netherlands. ~ Andy Kellman
