A popular singer in the UK during the 1950s and early '60s, Joan Regan made her Top 10 debut with "Ricochet" in 1953. A string of hits followed, and Regan appeared in several shows at the London Palladium. In 1984, she was left paralysed and speechless following a brain hemorrhage.
