In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being absolutely traumatized by most of the instruments being played at a Bela Fleck concert.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Paul McCartney, Wings, Band On the Run (Remastered) Tame Impala, Currents Past, present, future....these three albums are timeless, modern, and classic. All at the same time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely going to the Woodstock Festival Museum with Joan Baez while on tour; when the person at the box office asked for her ticket, she pointed up at the photograph of herself on the wall from the actual festival and said, "that should work."
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Collaborative vision has been first and foremost for my whole career- now I'm looking forward to anchoring to one vision: my own.
