Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents exposed my brother and I to every musical genre. I daily heard jazz, folk, prog rock, classical, r&b, pop, country, singer-songwriters. I preferred artists who themselves played with more than one genre.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Earth, Wind & Fire, The Essential Earth, Wind & Fire Prince, Sign O' The Times Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life I love prolific artists who obliterated all the boxes! I love double albums, brimming with creativity and endless inspiration. I love soulful multi-instrumentalists and visionary producers, and I try ever to be more like them in my own artistry.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tether Me (feat. Mark Kibble)” My songwriting tends to be pretty confessional, and "Tether Me" is a plea/prayer for grounding, safety, love. The song tumbled out of me in about 15 minutes after waking in the middle of the night. I love the chord changes and how nebulous it is.
