In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first recording was on Jamaica in Marley Music Studio with former Bob Marley's engineer back in 1999 when I was 22. This changed the way I listened to the world forever. Such en excitement to record in the former house of Marley (now a museum).
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cultura Profética, Ideas Nuevas Silvio Rodríguez, Al Final de Este Viaje... The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version I learned to play guitar with Silvio's album. I was after a song on it, then I went after the next, until I ended playing all songs. Hendrix's opened a world of possibilities with my instrument. Cultura's is my first ever recording, just described.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “El hombre que cuida - Tema principal” I love the result of this composition, being simply a "meremgue perico ripiao", but suuuuper slow... If I don't say it, no one will notice.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in Bogota's Rock al Parque Festival in front of 126,000 attendees with a very high fever and joint pains in all of my body (fingers included), a result of a mosquito bite...
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Two of my goals is to tour Asia with my band, and to write music for an Internationally acclaimed film director.
