A producer, remixer, DJ and label owner, Peter Rauhofer is one of Austria’s most successful musical exports. While working in a record shop in his late-teens, Rauhofer was exposed to the first house and techno records emerging from Chicago and Detroit. He conceived a compilation album to showcase local Viennese artists, including Kruder and Dorfmeister, and his own career took off when his "Let Me Be Your Underwear" was licensed to Ffrr Records in the U.K. Rauhofer soon found himself travelling the world on DJing and remix engagements. In the late '90s Rauhofer completed remixes for Whitney Houston, Cher, Depeche Mode, and Madonna, in addition to releasing his own material under the aliases, House Heroes and Size Queen. In 2000 Rauhofer received a Grammy award for Remixer of the Year.
