Raymond Froggatt began his music career in the mid-1960s with his group, the Monopoly. The Froggatt penned track, "Red Balloon," was covered by the Dave Clark Five, and scaled the U.K. charts. Although Froggatt’s "Big Ship" was rejected for Lulu in the Eurovision Song Contest, it became a hit for Cliff Richard, who recorded several more of his songs. In the mid-'70s, Froggatt switched to country and made the popular album SOUTHERN FRIED FROG in Nashville with top producer Larry Butler. "Don’t Let Me Cry Again" became a radio hit in 1983.
