In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started on one of those cheap school-style keyboards — just messing around, no clue what I was doing. Years later, I ended up on a laptop, teaching myself as I went. Getting to play a Yamaha grand in college felt like I’d finally earned the keys.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? KAI, Wait On Me - The 4th Mini Album Kendrick Lamar, GNX RM, Right Place, Wrong Person ‘Wait On Me’ is slick and layered, loads to pull from production-wise. RM’s album feels messy in a good way, like creative chaos. ‘GNX’ just bangs, it’s sharp, textured, and sparks ideas for how I flip or cut stuff in my own mixes.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sparks” I recorded this not long after a breakup, just me, a piano, and too many thoughts. Sparks already has that quiet ache to it, but playing it stripped down let me sit with the silence a bit more. It’s one of the rawest things I’ve shared.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Uploading my first track to SoundCloud at 12 is still burned into my brain. I was fully convinced my little electronica BTS remix was gonna shake the industry. It was naive, sure, but that buzz was real, and it’s what kept me going.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to perform live one day — right now, the only way anyone hears me is through streaming. I also dream of one of my tracks getting placed in a K-drama or anime scene. That kind of sync moment, where the music hits with emotion? Magic.
