In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing Swedish House Mafia play at the Barclays Center for one of their last performances in NYC. This was about 11 years ago, during the boom of EDM. That concert really solidified my interest in music and creating my own artistry.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Franky Wah, This Is SHÈN Hot Since 82, 8-track Sasha, Xpander - EP My roots started in progressive and deep house, then slowly started to include more organic and afro influences. I feel all three of these works can summarize where my influences really come from.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Follower” It's the track that started it all. My first release as Trenches which captured my first take at progressive house.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being invited to play Elements Festival in Pennsylvania in 2024. The atmosphere and all of the dance music lovers were gave off incredible energy!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So much. Pretty much all of it is still in play. Opening up for my idols would be at the top of my list.
