DeBarge were an awesomely popular ‘80s R&B group initially comprised of siblings El, Bunny, Bobby, and Mark DeBarge. Signed to Motown Records, the quartet scored big with their 1982 sophomore album All This Love, which earned a gold certification, as did their 1983 album In a Special Way. Their fame rose even further with 1985's platinum-selling Rhythm of the Night. Despite their success, El and Bunny left the group in 1986 to pursue solo careers. Their songs remain some of the most impactful in hip-hop history, sampled by The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac.
