Inspired by plants and planets alike, Ozoyo makes sonic adventures filled with ambient textures. Like his music, the career of the Istanbul-based producer—who crafted his first tracks using jazz samples—has bloomed organically since 2016’s Wanderlust EP. His 2022 single “Liquid Planta Seeds” is as hazy and earthy as it gets, while 2020’s “Aqua” marries galactic vibes with the slow drip of water. When it comes to combining elements of lounge jazz, soul, dreamy lo-fi tones and hip-hop, Ozoyo is a natural.
