Don't be fooled by the band's bleak name. Every Time I Die do not waste any tears as they come for their listeners full throttle while displaying a great, twisted sense of humour to boot. The aggressive metalcore drumming and the Southern rock-inspired guitar riffs are particularly powerful. They clear the way for Keith Buckley's screams to emerge and wipe the floor without ever turning into a brutal growl. The band's well-constructed chaos is almost therapeutic, allowing everyone to feel at ease in their sardonic mosh pit.
