A City Once Divine

As I gaze at the sea i feel it's a part of me the spirits of the oceans arise and carry me away to distant memories Will they return? I've seen it in my dreams so far away it seems Atlantica, your shores in the vivid ocean roars A city once divine and hearts of endless pride cursed to decay High on towers of light noone saw the fatal coming of the tide Oh they drowned one day for the golden God that made them fall astray Far beyond our eyes under clear blue skies lies the realm between the seas I have seen it all seen the city fall Still my quest is not at end Now there's no more time to wait I have to find my way back home and though i never felt so alive a vision of my grave right beneath the waves burns deep inside Open your doors lead me to your halls rejoin the glory and days of the past open your doors lead me to your halls when we're going down face the rage of the Gods (Power and wisdom were once in our hands till avarice inflamed the rage of the Gods) High on towers of light noone saw the fatal coming of the tide oh they drowned one day for the golden God that made them fall astray Far beyond our eyes under clear blue skies lies the realm between the seas I have seen it all seen the city fall Still my quest is not at end
