Introverted Dancefloor is the electronic solo project of New Zealand-based musician Bevan Smith. Prior to this project, the Wellington native has released music under various monikers like Signer and Aspen, skirting the edges of various electronic and EDM genres with his unique work. He was also one-half of the duo Skallander and has released several albums as a member of Kiwi indie pop band the Ruby Suns. With Introverted Dancefloor, his songs began featuring more propulsive, heavy dance grooves although the pop elements of his other projects remain present as well. His self-titled debut LP from Carpark Records was released in September 2015. ~ Timothy Monger
