Twin Cities rapper and poet Juice Lord is carrying on his hometown’s proud tradition of socially conscious, storytelling hip-hop.
• Hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, Juice Lord entered youth poetry slams as a teenager. These served as inspiration for his music.
• In 2015, Lord garnered attention by freestyling on SiriusXM’s Sway In the Morning radio show.
• He made waves with his 2016 single “Growth,” which flips the beat from Los Angeles rapper Cozz’s 2015 song “Grow.”
• In 2020, Lord released his debut EP, 5/5, followed by 6/6: The Forever EP months later.
