On her 2010 debut as Glasser, Cameron Mesirow sets a thick tapestry of exotic instrumentation afloat in an ethereal, electronic waterworld. The entire album undulates, even in its wild, tribal moments. The stunning opener, "Apply," has stuttering beats, buzzing synths, and feral yelps, while the Fever Ray–esque meditation "Mirrorage" thrives on witchy chants and brassy chimes. Elsewhere, her honeyed, haunting vocals recall Kate Bush, or even Enya, as they glide through fairy-tale forests of xylophones ("Home") and woodwinds ("Plane Temp").
