Ben Platt is an actor and songwriter known for portraying Evan Hansen in the Broadway run of Dear Evan Hansen and for his role in the movie Pitch Perfect.
∙ At age 9, Platt kicked off his musical career with a role in a production of The Music Man at Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl.
∙ For his Dear Evan Hansen role, he won a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical, and he became the youngest person ever to win the Drama League’s Distinguished Performance Award.
