Serving up buckets of quirk, Mandopop group NEKO Highway are named after their love for cats and the band’s birthplace—a practice space near Singapore’s Nicoll Highway. After vibing hard post-impromptu gig, vocalist/live streamer Kaye, bassist/producer Claire and keyboardist Sandy kicked off their brand of irreverent, offbeat vibrancy and light, ethereal vocals, creating a fun sound that's not defined by any particular genre. Their 2018 debut single “Dancing Cat” received much acclaim, and was even sung live by Taiwanese indie legend Waa Wei, bringing the trio to local cult status.
