Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Born in Washington D.C., Akinola Pedro launched his career in 2016 as AkinG Kalld Pedro with the release of his debut Mixtape/EP, Afro-Brazil: Viva Sua Paixão.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2019, Pedro was amongst 10 other emerging artists that won the inaugural 2Kbeats Contest created by Steve Stoute’s UnitedMasters. His breakout single, Traffic.jam {BARGAIN}, was hand-picked by Kevin Durant & Stoute himself for NBA 2K20 Soundtrack.
