Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I got obsessed with Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and wanted to play all of it!! Obviously way too hard for an 11-year old... but somehow that was part of the magic of it:)
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexandre Tharaud, Chopin: Journal Intime Berliner Philharmoniker, Claudio Abbado, Mahler: Symphony No. 6 Nicholas Britell, Succession: Season 2 (Music from the HBO Series) There's a range of intimacy to grandiose in these three.. Mahler of course being the colossal option. I love the contrast in expression with Chopin, and of course Britell's score for Succession is legendary.. These all inspire me to keep writing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Gentle Fall” This is the one tune that's ever came to me in a dream!! I feel like this is the underdog of my output hah. This is such a neat sort of impressionist string piece that I think holds up - very moody and emotional, and super straightforward.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working on the music team with Horizon Forbidden West. Super incredible game and experience. Also performing Dust and Ions is always an incredible highlight (NYC 5/6 & 5/7 - 2023)
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely!! Performing Dust and Ions under the stars is one.. in a neat outdoor venue. Working on a moving and empowering TV show.. there are so many more things on the list:)
