Not to be confused with the metal band of the same name, the contemporary Christian vocal group Brother's Keeper formed in the early '90s, forging a sound that blended four-part harmonies, gospel and R&B-inflected melodies and spiritually upbeat lyrics. They released Brother's Keeper in 1999 on Ardent Records. Fantasy Killer followed in mid-2001.~ Heather Phares
