About CODEE
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Listening to "Computer Love" in a 1995 Suburban was the first time I heard the best music known to man. Filled with tons of questions, my parents was constantly educating on different genres of music and sounds that would later shape my sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Chris Brown, Chris Brown (Expanded Edition)
Donell Jones, Where I Wanna Be
Future, FUTURE
In my opinion these 3 albums are very inspirational every time you press play. I feel like these records shifted the culture when they were released.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“MANDALAY”
When I started working on my new project this was a song that I would play, people would walk into my session and start jamming out with me. At that point I felt the energy behind this record and knew alot of my supporters would relate to my message.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Most memorable moment was last year performing for a packed out show during SXSW 23'. Felt good to have real support that was built by being consistent with releasing music and content.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
There are a few things that I really would like to accomplish and that's earning a Grammy Award and having a few number 1 records.
