Scottish keyboardist, composer, and producer David McGuinness has carved out a diverse career that spans from early music to modern soundtrack composition, including collaborations within the classical, folk, and indie rock worlds. As director of the eclectic early music ensemble, Concerto Caledonia, he has rescued ancient repertoire from obscurity, bringing warmth, humor, and zest to their arrangements, which often feature guests from the U.K. folk world. Apart from his devotion to historical Scottish music, McGuinness has also produced music for radio and television.
