Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13, I watched my father play percussion on Rachmaninov's "Symphonic Dances." The night before, we had sat at the kitchen table playing and singing originals on guitar. If he could do both, why couldn't I? Now I sing opera and write songs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Connie Converse, How Sad, How Lovely Joni Mitchell, Court and Spark The Milk Carton Kids, The Ash & Clay I love Ash & Clay's seamless yet varied unity of two people's voices and strings. Connie's life story is hypnotizing, all distilled into her unique music. And Joni - to me, Court and Spark is the pinnacle of storytelling through lyric and sound.
