Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad playing drums in one of his jazz combos. He was a wonderful jazz drummer.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on AppleĀ Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Brain Salad Surgery 2014 Remaster Terry Riley, Riley: The Harp of New Albion Van Der Graaf Generator, Pawn Hearts Brain Salad Surgery is both a testament to the extraordinary musical talent of that era and a prophetic warning. Pawn Hearts beautifully captures the delirium of its time. Harp of New Albion is visionary music that evokes my northern California home.

Whatās one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The fourth album, "These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins," which appeared on the Musea label with cover art by the great Paul Whitehead. The making of that album was a great experience and I continue to regard the music highly.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? When I formed Hermetic Science, I said we would never make an album without a compelling reason. For years I though the fourth album was it, but here we are in 2023 having just released "Deliria: A Chronicle of 2020." So who knows?
