In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is hearing powerful gospel harmonies in church. The choir’s voices blended beautifully, filling the room with soul-stirring melodies. I felt the music deep in my spirit, moved by the passion and joy in every note.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Donnie McClurkin, Donnie McClurkin... Again Kirk Franklin, The Rebirth Of Kirk Franklin (Live) Mary J. Blige, Growing Pains (Deluxe) I chose these albums because they shaped my sound & spirit. Mary J. Blige’s raw emotion taught me vulnerability in music, Kirk Franklin’s energy redefined gospel for me, and Donnie McClurkin’s powerful worship strengthened my faith. Timesless!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Believe God” This powerful song embodies my faith, passion, and musical journey. The song’s message of assurance and praise resonates deeply with me, blending rich gospel tradition with my unique style. It’s a powerful testimony of my belief and purpose.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing for the Pope at the Vatican. Standing in such a historic place, sharing my gift on a global stage, was surreal. It was a powerful reminder that music transcends boundaries & carries a divine purpose.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to tour internationally, collaborate with legendary gospel and R&B artists, and mentor the next generation of musicians. Recording a live album with a full orchestra and choir is also a dream. There’s always more to create & inspire!
