With Gerome Ragni, James Rado composed the lyrics for the most famous rock musical, 1969's Hair. Combined with music by Galt MacDermot, the songs "Let the Sunshine In," "Aquarius," and "Good Morning Starshine" became pop standards and hits for years to come.
